It’s Tri Kappa Week!

The Farm was honored to have members of Tri Kappa Mu of LaGrange visit the Farm house this week. Tri Kappa members included Emily Harris, Amy Whited, Andie Myers, and Laura Hartman. Board member Keith James led the group on a tour of The Farm’s eight-bedroom house, which will be leased to a licensed foster care provider in the near future.

The purpose of “Tri Kappa Week” is to show that Tri Kappa is a strong philanthropic organization in the state of Indiana. Tri Kappa gives approximately $1.5 million dollars every year on a local and statewide level to important projects in the areas of charity, culture, and education. Tri Kappa is a powerful network with nearly 9,000 members throughout the state. It is larger than some national organizations with more members and more chapters than many others – and it is only a statewide organization.

The Farm Place is very grateful to have the support of Tri Kappa Mu. We are so appreciative of the boxes of delicious cookies they shared with us, which we will enjoy at our next board meeting.
