Getting to Know DeKalb County
The Farm Place recently joined the DeKalb Chamber Partnership, which represents businesses in DeKalb County, Indiana. When offered a chance to participate in the Business Unplugged New Member Expo, we jumped at the chance! The event was held at the Auburn Atrium Marketplace on in Auburn, a wonderful venue situated in downtown Auburn that features area artists and other small businesses.
The New Member Expo offered us a chance to visit with other DeKalb County members. Farm board members Steve Howell and Keith James were on hand to tell visitors how The Farm Place benefits DeKalb County. There was an excellent turnout, and it was a great opportunity not only sharing about The Farm, but also learning more about the businesses in DeKalb County.
