The Farm Place is on a mission to complete the Animal Companionship Center (ACC), and we need your help!
On October 16, 2025, The Farm Place is hosting a fundraising dinner and auction to support the completion of the ACC. The event will take place at the 4-H Fairgrounds in LaGrange. Enjoy a haystack dinner and homemade pies for dessert, with the cost covered by donation. Doors open at 5:00 PM, dinner starts at 5:30 PM, and the auction will follow. Contact any board member for tickets. We look forward to seeing you there!
Businesses and individuals from around the county are pitching in to help build the ACC, which will be utilized by DCS and other professional organizations for court-ordered family reunifications, supervised visitations, and life skills training in a safe, private environment, with the added benefit of animal companionship.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised enough money to buy the land and build the foster home; it is completely paid for and has been occupied since early 2020. More than 120 children have already passed through its doors!
To this date we have completed the ACC exterior, interior finishing touches are being done, fencing is ready to complete, landscaping is in the works, and as we have done in the past, we want to carry no debt.
