Sold Out Before 1:00! The wonderful June weather only added to the fun at our King's BBQ fundraiser, held June 3rd on the LaGrange County Courthouse lawn. Board members and Farm Place volunteers arrived early to set up for the day, and the stream of BBQ loving Farm supporters kept everyone on their toes. Farm Place Receives Parkview Grant
The Farm Place, Inc., has received a Community Health Improvement grant from Parkview LaGrange Hospital in the amount of $10,000. The Farm Place Inc. has received a $20,000 grant from LaGrange County Community Foundation to support construction of the Animal Companionship Center at The Farm Place. Amish-style haystack supper and a fun auction to boot! The Farm Place held a fundraiser August 23rd to raise money toward building a barn at The Farm Place. The auction was a great success, raising more than $50,000! Attendees enjoyed delicious haystack supper with home-made desserts.
